Time Manager International, TMI, was founded in Denmark by Claus Møller in 1975. Today TMI is one of the world’s largest and best-respected learning consultancies with resource centers in close to 36 countries.
The first product launched by TMI was the Time Manager®, a goal-based planning tool with a unique philosophy and the first in the world of its kind. It was originally marketed as a tangible product, but a Time Manager training program was soon developed to accompany its introduction to new users. The program was not just on managing time, but also lifestyle, attitudes, people. The Time Manager concept soon developed into a unique philosophy that has become known and recognized all over the world.

In the early 80’s, another cornerstone of TMI's success was laid down with the Putting People First (PPF) program. This program has helped numerous organizations from a wide variety of industries to create remarkable results and gain international recognition and even awards for excellent service quality.

TMI is rated Europe's Number One in Training and Education according to an ESIF report to the Commission of the EC.

Human Side of Quality concept is launched and TMI gains international recognition. It has been described by the British Department of Trade and Industry and the European Organization for Quality as one of the best contributions to quality development in the world.

Another TMI innovation - the Employeeship concept is launched. Most management theories concentrate on what it takes to be a good manager, placing the responsibility for both success and failure on the manager's shoulders. This approach overlooks the importance of the contribution of everybody else in an organization. Employeeship recognizes the roles played by everybody, this helps individuals, teams and organizations identify what it takes not just to be a good manager but a good employee.

TMI India was established.

TMI's most recent - the Heart Work concept and program. Heart Work is about achieving better results for individuals, teams and organizations, about improving organizational performance by developing and applying the emotional intelligence of employees and of the entire organization.

TMI launched a unique education for executives, Practical Leadership, covering the complete relevant curriculum for leaders in both the private and public sectors in a small group environment with experienced and like-minded individuals. The education is focused on how to solve specific problems and achieve results in everyday life and attendees will be given concrete advice and practical tools to identify and develop their own potentials as leaders.

TMI launched Branded Customer Service. With this product, the company embarked on the mission of helping organizations differentiate themselves by better aligning staff behaviours with marketing strategy.
